To make your betta use the hammock, it is important to consider putting off the light, bettas can only sleep when the aquarium light is turned off. If you keep the light turned on, it might confuse the betta(s) therefore, in that case, you should always ensure to turn off the light at night.

  • Keep food on the leaf

This is another way that has proven to help make your betta use the hammock, this can be done by putting little pallets of food on the hammock. It happens just as a way of enticing the betta on making use of the hammock.
